Drone Initiative
HRMF leads an active philanthropic project for the purchase of drones and
drone components.
These are provided to Ukrainian agencies for the purpose of securing Ukraine’s borders, grain corridor, and self-defense. This effort is supported by robust risk and compliance guardrails, including all proper documentation and expert legal advice. Generic off-the-shelf drones have an 80% failure rate: by directly supporting end-user agencies that specify components, we achieve high success rates for custom-tailored and cost-effective drones.

Mission success rate in protecting the international grain corridor
End user feedback and development of new technological capabilities
We guarantee accountability, with end-to-end project delivery personally monitored by our Executive Director Brig. Gen. (ret.) Mark Arnold. The Foundation employs experts on humanitarian aid delivery and the latest drone technology, including those with language skills and cultural knowledge relevant to the region. A professional Washington-based law firm supports our work to ensure the highest standard of compliance and transparency. We track every item from purchase order through property transfer to Ukrainian end users
