Child Resiliency Program

About the Program

Founded in 2019, the Child Resiliency Program (CRP) was developed by the Massachusetts General Hospital in collaboration Harvard University Medical School to address the adverse physiologic and behavioral effects of stress and trauma on children. Utilizing the expertise and curriculum of the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine, the CRP refined the Resilient Youth curriculum to meet the needs of 21st-century youth. Clinician educators at CRP have worked closely with their colleagues at the Home Base Program to adapt and deliver Resilient Youth to military-connected children, especially children of the fallen. This initiative has helped provide military-connected children in the Home Base program develop skills to buffer stress and build resiliency in the face of immense personal challenges.
